Bio

Haley Hansmeier, MA, LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) at Therapy Services of the Rockies in Fort Collins, Colorado, who provides compassionate, client-centered counseling for teens, adults, and couples. She believes that every person has the ability to grow, heal, and create meaningful change.

At the heart of Haley’s approach is the understanding that many of the patterns people carry were once helpful ways of coping but may no longer serve them. Through supportive and collaborative therapy, she helps clients gently explore these patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and responding to life’s challenges.

Haley is dedicated to creating a warm, empathetic, and judgment-free environment where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts and emotions. She understands that lasting change requires both courage and vulnerability, and she strives to be a steady and supportive presence throughout each client’s therapeutic journey. By fostering self-awareness and encouraging clients to reconnect with their strengths, Haley helps individuals take meaningful steps toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Her therapeutic approach integrates several evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based interventions, and psychodynamic therapy. By combining these techniques, Haley helps clients better understand how their experiences, thought patterns, and social environments influence their emotional well-being.

Haley works with individuals ages 16 and older as well as couples, providing personalized support that takes into account each client’s developmental stage, personal history, and therapeutic goals. She partners with clients to build practical skills for managing difficult emotions, improving communication, and developing greater self-compassion.

Outside of her counseling work, Haley enjoys reading, working on puzzles, playing games, spending time with family and friends, and getting outside whenever possible.
