Bio

Bridget C. Everett, MA, LPC, CGT, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), EMDR-trained therapist, and Certified Grief Therapist (CGT) who provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for individuals and families at Therapy Services of the Rockies in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Bridget creates a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences with curiosity and compassion. With a warm, grounded presence, she helps clients deepen self-awareness, process difficult experiences, and develop the skills for lasting emotional healing and personal growth.

She works with clients across the lifespan, including young children (ages 3 and older), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Bridget tailors treatment to each client’s developmental stage, personal history, and individual goals, ensuring that care is both personalized and effective.

Her therapeutic approach integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, and psychodynamic therapy. Bridget is also committed to continued professional development and is currently pursuing certifications in ADHD assessment and treatment, neuropsychotherapy, and neural desensitization and integration.

Bridget has particular expertise in helping clients navigate attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety and panic disorders, depression and mood disorders, trauma and post-traumatic stress, and grief, loss, and life transitions. She is especially attuned to how shame, guilt, and internal conflict can contribute to emotional distress and disconnection. Through therapy, she helps clients build emotional regulation skills, cultivate self-compassion, and gain deeper insight into their internal experiences.

Outside of her work as a therapist, Bridget enjoys spending time with family and friends, connecting with nature, journaling, reading, traveling, drawing, biking, practicing yoga and mindfulness, kayaking, running, and playing sports such as soccer and lacrosse. She also enjoys games—especially chess.
